iCAD’s #TargetPink Campaign Raises Breast Cancer Awareness and Funds for New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition

November 20, 2014

LEE, NH — iCAD, Inc., an industry-leading provider of advanced image analysis, workflow solutions and radiation therapy for the early identification and treatment of cancer, recently contributed $2,500 to the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition (NHBCC), as result of a month-long, patient-education-based social media campaign in support of breast cancer awareness. Based in Nashua, New Hampshire, iCAD partnered with the NHBCC during breast cancer awareness month to raise support for women facing breast cancer in its home state.

“The NHBCC Board of Directors is proud to partner with iCAD in raising breast cancer awareness, providing information and securing funds to support our mission,” said Nancy Ryan, NHBCC president. “October’s #TargetPink was a unique social media campaign that raised significant funds for NHBCC.”

Launched at the beginning of October, the #TargetPink campaign educated on breast cancer incidence, prevention, detection and treatment. iCAD pledged to make a donation to the NHBCC on behalf of each Twitter or Facebook post using the #TargetPink hashtag throughout the month.

“iCAD is committed to providing solutions for the early detection and innovative treatment of breast cancer and education is a key component. As a New Hampshire-based company, we are pleased to contribute to the important work that the NHBCC does on behalf of women with breast cancer,” said Ken Ferry, President and CEO of iCAD.

Founded in 1992, NHBCC is a statewide, all volunteer advocacy organization whose mission is to advocate for and provide assistance to New Hampshire patients with breast cancer.
