"Voices of Breast Cancer" is a writing anthology by or about women who either are living with the disease or have died from it.
In more than 50 essays, letters, poems, and journal entries, New Hampshire people reveal the grief, fear, rage, prayers, humor, love and hope that accompany breast cancer.
These passionate writings present the truth about the breast cancer experience. "See Us ~ Hear Us" calls on you to advocate for meaningful change.
First published in 1994, the response to this 120-page soft cover book was overwhelming. "Voices of Breast Cancer" will inspire you to Join Us in the battle against breast cancer.
"Voices of Breast Cancer" and the Photo Exhibit of women with breast cancer together comprise the grassroots public awareness project called "See Us ~ Hear Us." The words and the pictures depict the human struggle with breast cancer in New Hampshire. The stories and faces unveil lives forever altered, and many shortened, by the most common cancer in women.
