"See Us ~ Hear Us" Photo Exhibit
In 1994, The New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition launched an exhibit of photographs of New Hampshire women who have had breast cancer. The free-standing "See Us ~ Hear Us" Photo Exhibit opened at the State House in Concord and has traveled to all parts of the state.

To commemorate a decade of the "See Us ~ Hear Us" project, NHBCC has created a digital-format slide show of the photo exhibit. We invite you to view the "See Us ~ Hear Us" Photo Slide Show, launched November 15, 2004.

The photo exhibit consists of photographs of 51 women, ages 29 to 75, women from the state who have had breast cancer. The photographs are accompanied by quotations by the women in the exhibit, their families and friends.

In conjunction with the photo exhibit, NHBCC also published a Writing Anthology by and about New Hampshire women with breast cancer or who have died from it.

The "See Us ~ Hear Us" project reminds people of the real story behind breast cancer's Shocking Facts that affect thousands of women as well as their families and friends right here at home.
